This document offers an overview of the various methods an end-user can use to identify and authenticate themselves with Dias, including a detailed explanation of the Machine Readable Zone method.

Dias is our Identity Hub that helps you authenticate users, obtain comprehensive and verified customer data, and enable users to self-authenticate.

A Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) is a fundamental security feature found in passports, ID cards, visas, and other identity documents. It encodes the document holder’s personal information, allowing machines, both hardware and software identity verification (IDV) tools, to read and verify the identity documents.
